We just wrapped up an intensive mission at IMS, focusing on the evaluation and strategic growth of the Hospitality-PRO program.

Over three days of deep-dive assessments, we focused on assessing our global implementation and specialized training frameworks. Meeting with students, IMS tutors and company trainers give us an interesting feed-back about the effectiveness of the on-the-job training.

Two intense days of networking and capacity building in preparation for impactful projects. In Valencia, the Erasmus Capital of Europe, we met at Xabec and Altaviana, to learn from each other:

- Impact measurement and storytelling sessions
- Inside sighting of the European network InnMain
- Working group sessions for cooperation projects

Across many countries, informality is the dominant reality of work, where most young people learn and earn through traditional apprenticeships and on the job learning. These systems are effective and socially rooted, yet they often lack structure, certification and pathways to better income and mobility. As a result, workers remain stuck in a cycle of low skills, low productivity and low income, reinforcing vulnerability across generations.

The new DC dVET products show how dual VET-inspired approaches build on what already works in informal systems while introducing recognition, structure, learning quality, and inclusiveness – without imposing full formalisation.

Esperti nazionali ed europei impegnati nella promozione dello scambio e della cooperazione in tutti i settori della formazione hanno presentato e discusso le opportunità che l'associazione a Erasmus+, prevista per il 2027, aprirà allo spazio educativo svizzero.

La sessione dedicata alla formazione professionale è stata particolarmente stimolante. DESK Hospitality fa ormai parte di una rete internazionale impegnata a elevare il profilo di questo irrinunciabile settore educativo.

In diesem Webinar haben wir uns Informationen über das österreichische Ausbildungsmodell Duale Akademie geholt. Es wurde speziell für Personen mit Matura entwickelt und hat sich seit 2022 österreichweit etabliert. Die schweizerische way-up Lehre wird als Vorreitermodell betrachtet.

Die Duale Akademie bietet verkürzte, praxisnahe Berufsausbildungen mit Lehrabschluss in verschiedenen Fachrichtungen an. Weiterführende Inhalte bereiten die Teilnehmenden auf anspruchsvollere Tätigkeiten vor. So gewinnen die Unternehmen frühzeitig engagierte und bestens ausgebildete Talente.
