VET governance: What role do vocational schools play? 13 March 2026
We enjoyed a presentation by Dr Linda Wanklin, a Post-Doctoral Researcher at GOVPET. The focus was on the pivotal role of vocational schools as trusted coordinators when traditional intermediary organisations are lacking.
Many DualNet vocational school members already fulfil this role, building crucial bridges with companies, adapting curricula, streamlining administrative processes and ensuring quality training. In the absence of formal institutions, interpersonal trust becomes a vital resource founded on competence, reliability, and good intentions.
